Our Property Manager will take you to see several properties and it is a good idea to record your impressions of each one. When you decide on the accommodation you want to rent you will need to fill in an application form and please make sure you read the tenancy agreement carefully and ask us about anything you don't understand. Once you have signed the agreement you will receive a copy. Usually at the time of signing the agreement you will be required to pay some rent in advance and a security deposit. The deposit is normally 1 month rent, although this can vary from property to property. Before you move in, Smartbuy will complete a Condition Report. This allows us to detail the condition of the property at the time you move in, so that at the end of the tenancy there is little dispute over the original condition of the property.
